About the author
Dylan McDowell is an Oregonian living in D.C. He studied Fisheries and Wildlife Science at Oregon State University, in addition to becoming certified as a high school biology teacher. He is always in search of new wildlife wherever he goes, such as the praying mantis found at the Lincoln Memorial (pictured right).
